Problem Statement:
Mr. Johnson mainly focused on the problem of searching for the trustworthy bully show and kennels. The earlier used platforms were not well integrated hence it was difficult for the consumers to find out and trust the most recommended events and service providers. That is why the creation of a centralized and reliable network was his ultimate goal in this process.
Project Journey and Timeline:
- Initial Planning and Design (20/03/2024 – 05/04/2024): The work began with preliminary discussions on requirements and planning of the further work according to Mr. Johnson’s concept. Our team designed and built wireframes and prototypes, addressing such aspects as UX/UI and thereby minimizing the navigational challenges involved.
- Development Phase (06/04/2024 – 15/06/2024): In this phase, we developed the back-end of the platform based on PHP and implemented searchable directories and user profile elements. To ensure that development was in conformity with the goals and objectives of the project, development was also closely supervised to prevent or solve any problems that may have arisen.
- Testing and QA (16/06/2024 – 25/06/2024): Strict testing was performed to ascertain the compatibility of the devised platform on different devices and the web browsers. To ensure the level of usability, functional, and performance tests, we delivered a friendly user interface
- Deployment (01/07/2024): This platform was developed and started to operate officially on the 1st of July, 2024. We trained Mr. Johnson’s team and made sure that all the features were ready for use and to support the user experience as well as managing his team.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
During our initial meetings, we identified several key features to address Mr. Johnson’s needs
Design Phase:
Accordingly, we developed a simple and, at the same time, clear menu to be easily comprehensible for both business entities and emergency services. We established wireframes and prototypes to which Jane reacted positively by approving them.
- A large bar for search with a possibility to easily type in the necessary data.
- Search settings which allow users to specify particular location and limit by the average rating.
- A kennel and event directory with key information, reviews left by other users, and contact information.
Development and Implementation:
The development process involved the use of PHP in constructing the backend of the platform. Key features implemented included:
Testing:
Testing was very strict as far as quality is concerned and it incorporated functional testing on various devices and browsers. We conducted.
- Usability testing to validate the navigability of the site.
- Testing and integration analysis to ensure that all the functions are working properly.
- Load testing to check for its stability during high traffic and load.
Deployment:
The platform was brought online on the 1st of July 2024. Therefore, we offered elaborate training to Mr. Johnson and his whole team to allow them to understand the way of managing and updating the site.
Maintenance and Support:
After deployment, we provided constant assistance and weekly updates to respond to problems and implement users’ suggestions. This included:
- Weekly meetings for performance monitoring and evaluation.
- Regular updates to cater for any technical glitches that may occur.
- Improvements that are brought about by feedback from users.
Results and Conclusion:
Using the new platform, one is able to identify bully shows and kennels with a lot of ease. People are now provided with a single one-stop shop that includes a directory pointing to the best members of the bully community. Mr. Johnson has shown a very high level of satisfaction with the development of this particular project citing increased usage and positive responses from the society.
