In February 2024, John Williams raised some concern with our team as he was worried about the functioning of PropertyTwins webpage. He required a solution to repair the Visual Composer plugin as it hindered changes to the website color.

Problem Statement:

John had an issue with the Visual Composer plugin that was affecting his website consistently. The editor did not load and prevented any color changes to the site. He required this issue to be fixed because he wanted to update the look of the website.

To fully understand the nature of the problem and how it affected John, a series of meetings were held with John. Key requirements included:

Design Phase:

Our design team worked on change planning. They came up with a roadmap on how to redress the plugin problem without distorting the site layout. This is the logical next step to point out the procedures for building maintenance and general component modification and configuration.

Adjusted the PHP limits for the plugin to suit its needs

Fixed the Visual Composer configuration to ensure proper loading and editing functionality

Performance Optimization:

Enhanced overall site performance for better user experience

Testing:​

Due to the essential role of Visual Composer in the development of the site, proper testing was carried out on the plugin. This consisted of the functionality test, user interface test and making sure that colors could be changed.

Deployment:

On the 25th of March 2024, the upgrade was successfully implemented on the website. Based on the data provided, John and his team were given documents and support to ensure they can efficiently deal with the platform.

Maintenance and Support:

Since deployment, we have constantly been available to fix problems and add more features according to the customers’ input. Daily updates and maintenance are performed to maximize functionality of the created platform.

Results and Conclusion:

The fix offered a more effective approach to overcome the Visual Composer problem, and John was able to change the website colors as expected. He was much satisfied by the restored functionality and particularly the opportunity to perform the required changes.
