Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Through several discussions, we identified key requirements:
Design Phase:
The wireframes were made by our team, paying special attention to an efficient search option. It is noted that all these designs were reviewed and accepted by John.
Development and Implementation:
In order to deal with the issue of category visibility in the search boxes, we modified the existing PHP code by programming dynamic features to support the true interaction of the users with the website or blog.
Categories adjust visibility based on content.
Search box updates instantly as categories change.
Display only relevant categories.
Improved user experience through intuitive search.
Testing:
To ascertain the proper functioning of the feature, we did Functionality testing and Beta testing with selected users.
Deployment:
The customization was successfully implemented on 01/09/2024. John and his team were trained and documented to properly control the platform to avoid shortcomings.
Maintenance and Support:
After deployment we have provided help-desk support to sort out any problems that may have arisen during the software’s use and incorporate alterations suggested by the clients. Maintenance and updates are used to keep the platform running efficiently at all times.
Results and Conclusion:
This customization was beneficial for improving the quality of user experience because categories that were not relevant to the search were not displayed. John was satisfied with the results because the solution was effective and increased users’ interest. Through the use of PHP, we provided a solution within the platform that was suitable for John and helped the platform achieve success.
