Introduction:
It was in March 2024 when Dr. Emily Parker approached our team with an idea of the directory website for surgeons. She required a platform that would allow surgeons to either have free or paid subscriptions, advertise their surgery packages, and let patients get in touch with the surgeons and search for surgery centers.

Problem Statement:
Dr. Parker integrated the necessity of getting a powerful directory website where the surgeons could sign up, post the packages on certain surgeries and interact with patients. The platform had to integrate free and paid access, the listing of surgeries by the bundle, the list of surgeries centers as well.
Project Journey and Timeline:
- 01/03/2024 - Project Inception: The project idea was forwarded to our team by Dr. Emily Parker. Meetings were also conducted to ascertain her perception and needs at the beginning.
- 15/03/2024 - Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Specific needs were described by Dr. Parker during the communication. From these responses, we were able to make a list of key features and functionalities
- 05/04/2024 - Design Phase: To achieve these objectives, the development of the wireframes and prototypes of the platform was performed. The design of the procedures and their approvals were received from Dr. Parker.
- 25/04/2024 - Development Phase: The directory platform was initially constructed with the PHP language. Surgeon registration, surgery bundle posting, and surgery centers Directory services were launched.
- 15/07/2024 - Testing Phase: Many tests were performed to check the functionality of the application as well as to prevent potential security threats. It was followed with a beta test with a few selected users.
- 01/07/2024 - Deployment Phase: The platform has been successfully launched. Training sessions and documentation were delivered to Dr. Parker as well as her staff.
- 15/07/2024 - Present: Support has been constantly offered and updates have been given quite frequently. Some of the highlights of user feedback have been implemented on the platform.

Design Phase:
Our design department continues to develop wireframes and prototypes of the web interface, as well as easy navigation and its corporate appearance. All the designs were reviewed and signed off by Dr. Parker.
Development and Implementation:
Using PHP, we implemented the following features
Established procedures on how the surgeons could register and set up personal profiles.
Allowed the surgeons to post the surgery bundles that patients can search.
Developed a directory of surgery centers in which the users can search for and access a specific center.
Offers the choices of free and paid monthly and yearly membership.
Testing:
Thorough testing of the software made it possible to fix any issue that may have arisen during development. This includes functional testing, interface testing and testing done on a group of persons known as beta testers.
Deployment:
We successfully deployed the website on 01/07/2024. To ensure that Dr. Parker and her team could effectively operate this platform, we also offered them extensive training and documentation
Maintenance and Support:
We have been providing consistent support to tackle any problems and improve the application in response to the users’ requests post-deployment. Periodic updates and maintenance enable the provision of all features that make the platform efficient.
Results and Conclusion:
With the help of a directory website, surgeons were able to find patients more easily, post the surgery bundles, and list the centers more conveniently. With respect to the utility, Dr. Parker found the interface easy to use, the operative core functionalities sound, and the integration with basic functionalities unproblematic. Thus, relying on PHP, we were able to create a stable and aesthetically engaging website that fulfilled Dr. Parker’s specifications and promoted the platform.
